Chalet-Apartment Ratgebgut is located above Thumersbach and the south shore of Lake Zell. The center of Zell am see is on the other side of the lake 6.5 km away. Near the center you will find the Schmittenhöhe ski area. Via the valley station of the CityXpress you can reach the Schmittenhöhe mountain from the village to explore the versatile and predominantly forested ski area. At this elevator you will also find a ski school and a rental store for ski equipment.
The ski area of Zell am See / Kaprun is one of the most popular ski areas in Austria and has a total of 138 km of slopes. There is something for every type of winter sports enthusiast. In Zell am See you will find all the necessary facilities for a top winter sports. You will find nice (sports) stores, restaurants, bars, an indoor pool, skating rink and many aprés-ski opportunities. Here you can enjoy a well-deserved drink after a hard day's work on the slopes.
